I don’t think Starmer would’ve held that press conference unless he believed the chance of Trump invading Greenland and the ensuing trade war he’ll unleash as very real indeed. A moment of real peril.

I hope I’m wrong but I think Trump will invade Greenland. I also believe Starmer was right in offering an off-ramp for him by suggesting the intentions of NATO allies going to Greenland had been misinterpreted.
