Interestingly most of the media and Nigel Farage largely welcome the appointment. Mandelson was sacked in September 2025 the moment emails emerged showing he'd lied. Not sure why 5 months later this has become as resigning matter for Stamer. Starmer is going nowhere by the way.

It would help if the press didnāt keep giving Farage a free pass. He featured on Sky News yesterday saying the PM āmade a serious misjudgmentā without being asked about why he supported Mandelsonās appointment at the time. And his Epstein Bannon connection needs re-examination.
