The Coalition of the Willing has made a significant step forward today, alongside Ukraine and the United States, towards robust security guarantees to back up a peace agreement in Ukraine. There are still some details to work out, and of course no peace agreement yet. But this is welcome news. 1/2

In the modern world, people expect politicians to become judge, jury and executioner within minutes of an event happening - done via a social media post. If you fail to do that right away, then you are then accused of being 'complicit' in something. That's the the world people want to see? 1/2

The UK foreign secretary makes a statement on the USA & Venezuela in the Commons. She emphasises the importance of upholding international law in all circumstances and raised these issues with the US yesterday. 1/6
