The irony of Plantir ruling out a partnership with the Government to produce the digital identification system on the basis that the policy is unpopular is quite a spectacle. Plantir is clearly unaware that a core reason for the policy objection is potential Plantir involvement.

Sharon Graham has lost the plot. Starmer would be absolutely mad to sack Miliband, who is one of the Government's most popular, high-performing, and forward-thinking cabinet ministers.

I find it fascinating how convinced the media were that Bridget Phillipson was going to be sacked by Starmer, yet she is an MP whom both Reeves and Starmer spoke particularly warmly of at conference.

I don't question Shabana Mahmood's motives for her immigration proposals, but I do question her means, and I don't think they will work. I believe that Shabana wants immigration addressed as a way to neuter Reform and ensure a more inclusive country, but I think it will have the opposite effect.

I kid you not, I have seen several comments labelling this proposal as "forced Labour". I actually can't with some of y'all.

The Labour Party should be a broadchurch, I understand that. However, Clive Lewis seems to complain so much, that it does make me wonder why he is still in it.

It is one thing to constructively criticise the leader of the party under which you serve. It is another to constantly undermine them, give the media precisely what they want, and bad mouth them at a time you are supposed to unite. Andy Burnham is an egomaniac of whom I'm fastly losing respect for.

While I do think the Government haven't challenged Farage enough, particularly over the summer, backbenchers constantly carping on about the Government's mistakes, giving far less energy to its successes, are part of the problem. It's giving: "we are sh*t please vote for us". Enough.

I'm convinced that many people on here just enjoy being miserable. Yes, I would have liked Keir Starmer to take a stand on ILR earlier, but I'm glad it is being said now. If he had continued to skirt around the issue, you'd complain. Now that he isn't, you also complain. I'm sick of it.
