Health-related spending has risen significantly since the financial crisis, but only enough to keep pace with rising ill-health. Between 2012-13 & 2025-26, health-related spending per person grew by 28% in real terms. But when looking at spending per person in poor health, spending is only up by 8%

Is generational progress making a comeback? In a reversal of the previous trend, there are signs that those born in the 1990s enjoyed higher living standards than their predecessors at the same age. Worryingly, incomes appear to be lower for people born in the 2000s. More ➡️ buff.ly/k30vVVD
