The birthright citizenship case should have been 9-0. Birthright citizenship is in the explicit text of a constitutional amendment we got by winning a bloody civil war in which 1 of every 30 Americans died. That Trump even *tried* to roll it back is a violation of his oath.

Justice Alito, in dissent, says the constitution does not "degrade the concept of United States citizenship" by confering citizenship on the children of "birth tourists." Degrade. As if the quality of Alito's citizenship depends on excluding others from citizenship.
