The bottom line with the proposed cuts to NSF is to cut the number of working scientists and disappear opportunities to train new scientists. This is a PROPOSED budget to Congress. Call your reps.

Presidential budget proposes a 70% reduction in NSF funding for 2026 compared to2024. Instead of funding 23% of proposals (2024) they will fund 7% (2026). A perfect recipe for the destruction of American science.
