having become a film camera guy i've grown more sympathetic to original software/hardware guys, because there really is a fetishistic aspect to the whole ritual around these things. realistically though it's paying a lot more money for a flakier and qualitatively shittier experience.

put together a janky makeshift copy table for scanning negatives with my dslr using an old vivitar zoom/macro lens. not as good as the noritsu at the lab but, with a little futzing, not too bad? #photography #35mm #filmphotography
