A beautiful day for baseball on the South Side, at least for now, as the White Sox close out the home slate for 2025. The cool Comiskey Park radios have all been handed out, but feel free to stop on by. It won’t be sunny and 80 forever.

With as many advertisers referencing Texas Longhorns football, it’s understandable if you want to see their season fall apart.

All you need to know in Chicago is that Nexstar is WGN-TV Ch. 9, WGN-AM 720 and News Nation, while Sinclair is Marquee Sports Network. Do with that what you wish. Personally, I want to avoid supporting businesses that act this way.

Remember Nexstar’s role in this Kimmel business whenever its News Nation pretends to be a neutral source for news.

Just in case Chicago TV viewers want to avoid the primary local outlets of the corporations who made this Kimmel thing happen: — Disney is obviously WLS/ABC 7. — Nexstar is WGN 9. — Sinclair is Marquee Sports Network. — and Fox is Fox 32 and WPWR 50.

Disney’s next move will be to turn its Hall of Presidents into the Hall of President.

Some lady at the White Sox game yelled, “Let’s make some noise!” I thought it was too soon to boo. But two botched plays by the Sox later, I’m not so sure.
