The new NYT poll finds Trump 17 points underwater on immigration, and the nonwhite and young voters who went to Trump in 2024 have snapped back to Dems It's almost as if 2024 might not have represented a seismic cultural realignment on immigration after all, despite 1,000 NYT op eds to the contrary

Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

Congress gets $79 a day for food while families are told to live on $3 meals. The silence out of lawmakers speaks volumes. Maybe if they had to eat on $3 a meal, we’d finally see some action. I’m running for Congress to fix a system that’s forgotten who it’s supposed to serve.

Get this. Per AP this began when DHS MISTAKENLY targeted a guy with a name similar to a sex offender. He let his girlfriend's cousin borrow his car, which ICE pulled over (3 degrees removed from the error) then broke into the driver's DAD's house (4 degrees) detaining him at gunpoint with no warrant

Regular people in Minnesota standing up to ICE and protecting their neighbors. Denmark and Belgium taking the strongest stances of European countries against Trump’s Greenland threats. Amazing how those with less power take action and sacrifice, while so many of the powerful equivocate and cower.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.

If leading Democrats came out in support of Abolish Ice / Fund Healthcare, it would easily get 65+% support (extrapolating from current polling) AND it is the right thing to do AND it would show that Democrats are standing with their people. Classic Win-Win-Win.

The Trump admin is moving to quickly deport two men who witnessed, they say, ICE guards choke a fellow detainee to death. The admin moved to deport men right after they spoke the Washington Post. This is the death that the medical examiner has already ruled likely homicide.
