I think it's rather sad that people are describing the ICE murders as "people are being killed by their own government", as though that were somehow unusual. The majority of murders are committed by people known to the victims (relatives, neighbors, etc), but of the people killed by strangers...

Another time - after a long flight to Tokyo, our child was motion sick and ended up vomiting on the train to the hotel. Several passengers had wet wipes, bags, etc and helped us clean up.

We were in Shanghai trying to find our hotel room. Someone recognized the lost looks on our faces, called the hotel for us, found the floor it was on and walked us up to the office to make sure we got there all right.
