There is no sense in which a chatbot can "help" with your schoolwork by making it easier; if it is easier, it is less useful for actual learning (effortful practice is HOW WE LEARN) and therefore the chatbot has not helped, but has only hindered.

I understand why chatbot cheating happens but every time I read about it I want to gently remind everyone that the point of schoolwork is not for the submission to exist. Teachers are not just greedy for more essays or solved equations. The point is to do the work WITH YOUR OWN BRAIN, FOR LEARNING.

I cannot adequately express how disgusting it is to me when someone uses the term "illegals" to describe human beings seeking a better life in greener pastures, as humans have always done since before we were even fully human.

The engine that drives irrational belief systems such as religion or partisanism is the emphatic pretense that accepting the tenets of the belief system on faith, without any critical analysis whatsoever, is a VIRTUE rather than a cognitive deficiency and moral failing.

The first time I ever heard of slash fiction it was Kirk/Spock. I did not look, and in the 40 or so years since I have managed to avoid reading a single line of slash fiction about any characters at all. I am quite pleased at this outcome.
