TfL "unveils ambitious 5 year plan to cut congestion & transform London’s road network for the future" (see tfl-newsroom.prgloo.com/news/tfl-unv...). We think there's some good news, but far too much bad news in this plan, that talks a lot about speeding up buses, but may not do that... 1/10

As someone who has never been in a position to use the Cycle to Work scheme, I'd much rather it be open to misuse than withdrawn entirely.

Also worth remembering that if the scheme is axed, a fair few UK bike shops/outlets could well go bust.

Worth remembering that freezing fuel duty, which could well happen again, costs about 30x more than the cycle to work scheme per year.

We've installed another three new simple zebra crossings, this time near Edgware Road. Without them drivers yield to pedestrians around 40% of the time. With them, it's around 80%. (Based on monitoring results from our first 4 sites)
