Courts had deemed Republican gerrymanders illegal in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Ohio several months before the 2022 elections. The Supreme Court and other courts let the GOP use those maps anyway, and it handed them the House. Now SCOTUS is doing the opposite thing for the same goal

It is worth, I think, emphasizing that in trampling congressional attempts to protect the rights of Black people, the Court is basically doing what it has always done, with the exception of a couple decades in the mid-20th century when it often worked with Congress to protect the rights of Black ppl

I have come to realize that students are relying on AI tools to help them complete their homework I've required to be handwritten. It's obvious because when they do timed writing w/lockdown browsers, about 1/3 to 1/2 are unable to accurately answer & the grammar and spelling are atrocious.
