Only having a week between heatwaves means this one has gotten to me even more than usual. This weekend is the wedding of a close friend but the forecast is 30°c and I'm honestly so worried about how hot the venue will be that I'm having a bit of a cry.

Bear is finally feeling a bit better (after three vet visits in three days!) so I'm a bit more relaxed but now it's too hot to sleep.

Bear has a UTI (had to do an emergency vet visit at dawn this morning) but has had a great day thanks to the opiate injection the vet gave him for the pain. Apparently opiates make Bear spend a lot of time rolling around on the floor in a state of bliss.
