People are asking if kids really had that much freedom in the 80s which is a wild question but also so valid. I can’t let my preteens play outside by themselves bc SOMEONE ELSE is mad they saw children in public. That’s bc yall hate kids.

2025 was a great year for @talesyettold.com and I’m determined to make 2026 even better. I feel like I’ve finally found my stride for production and I’m overflowing with ideas. Actual Play is an art form unlike any other and I can’t wait to see where it will take me in the future.

what’s fun about writing kids/teenagers is that they really do have vocabularies and thoughts on par with most adults, they just have a lot of feelings and no solid ways to cope with them yet. and that’s where you get a convincingly written teen

It is strange, after thirty odd years, to finally find oneself. 2025 was transformative, personally and professionally. And there are so many to thank. For your art, your inspiration, and your friendship. There is not nearly enough space to put my gratitude into words. But I will certainly try.
