Today my doctor told me it will be at least another six months until I can get the surgery on the NHS. I am not exaggerating: I will be homeless and probably dead long before then. My situation is completely dire.

have to get back in touch with the GP tomorrow as today they said they want to switch me to a different medicine for two weeks so they can run a test but haven't actually put a prescription on for the thing i'm supposed to switch to. aaahhhhhhhhhhh.

months of jumping through hoops to get referred then months of waiting for assessment for them to finally offer me targeted therapy... in a year or so. in an attempt to keep me alive until then, they'll check in every six months.

one day i am just not going to be able to do this anymore and absolutely nothing of fucking value will be lost.

i have two important appointments tomorrow and despite them being ~20 minutes away from each other with over an hour between the end of one and the start of the next one i am having a truly wild spiral about it because what if xyz and also the first one is at 12:15 which is early for me atm 💀

the worse my head gets, the further away from everyone else i get but the closer i feel to Will, which is both morbidly comforting and also an appalling tribute to someone who was notable for so many things other than deciding to die.
