started playing through Silent Hill 3, i'm about 2 hours in. what surprises me so far is how little plot there is? it's still atmospheric, it just hits you with three dungeons in a row right off the bat

i generally think it's a good thing for a game to be book-like, in the sense that you can flip to any "page" (game state) relatively unimpeded, which i feel is a more radical position on difficulty than "dark souls should have easy mode"
