I don't understand why I wake up so early every morning and can't go back to sleep. This is not normal for me. I've been taking care of my mother for several years, and she doesn't get up till 10, and she stays up till 9. What is wrong with me?

Can we stop making "jokes" about "Dementia Don?" I'm 52. I've been taking care of sick old people since I was 17. He certainly exhibits symptoms of dementia, but there could be other causes for the way he acts, speaks and writes, and everyone with dementia doesn't deserve to be lumped in with him.
