I love when others share their @mcbl.bike spotting, but I especially love when *I* cross paths with our borrowers enjoying our bikes. Like just now, I was stopped @ a light & heard from behind “Laura?” Turn around to see a grandma in the front of our Urban Arrow & all smiles from the family. 🚲❤️

Breaking mine in on a very humid late evening grocery run.

This year we’ve had a LOT of longtail-owning families borrowing front loaders to see if they want to replace their longtail or add a second cargo bike (with more hauling capacity).

Them: “Sure, biking for transportation may be doable when you’re in your 20s, but parents can’t bike their kids to sports practice, to get groceries, etc.” Minneapolis: kids’ sports practice looking like a @piecycleclub.bsky.social & @mcbl.bike cargo bike show and tell or test ride event.

"I wish I'd done this sooner." is what everyone says about buying an e-bike. there is basically not a single person who says "I wish I hadn't bought it".

We’ve had several @mcbl.bike borrowers have their entry point to e-bikes via cargo e-bikes (which I didn’t expect!). Some decide they want a cargo bike, others decide they want a smaller ebike. After trying them, virtually all decide they’re ready to buy or want to start saving to get one.
