To close Game 7 and cement the Dodgers’ dynasty, the team turned to Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was pitching on zero days of rest. He collected the final three outs in the 11th inning.

A good loss has so many "if only" moments, and we have a lot of those. It's hard, a win is so much better, but how you lose is important to. Dodgers had to fight and scrape when they were the heavy favourites to walk away with it all. Jays did NOT go down like the Brewers. They commanded respect.

Great series. Great effort by both teams. A stunner. Dodgers showed amazing resilience and depth.

I've watched the World Series nearly every year since I was a kid, and I finally got to watch one with my stepdad, who is a lifelong Dodgers fanatic. Easily one of the best series I've ever seen; it was nice to unplug and just be in the moment for seven fantastic games. Happy and thankful.
