One of the things that gets lost in translation is how rhythmic & fun to read the prose of the original Journey to the West is. Best way I can describe it is "Imagine if Dragonball was Written instead of Drawn" Esp. when for most of its existence, this is how story would've actually been read:

I was a member of TGA Future Class 2022 and lemmee tell ya, my skin has been crawling since pretty much every interaction I had with them (few) & story I heard about other members' interactions with them (many) was bad. & by bad I mean, so many shades of being used as photo op tokens & nothing more

This story is infinitely more important than GTA getting delayed. Don't let me catch you moaning about waiting longer for a video game if you're not mad about why it happened.

Yeah, I've got my own crowdfunding, but I can't not mention Apocalypse World 3e. Apocalypse World is one of the most influential games to arise out of the innovative indie side of gaming. It's literally created a whole subsector of the industry: Powered by the Apocalypse. A 3e is huge news.

Seconding this. The OG X-Com has seen an ENORMOUS modding renaissance in the past few years thanks to the OpenXCom engine. The best way to play it vanilla, as it fixes a ton of bugs and improves the UI. Some of the biggest mods dwarf the original game by a factor of ten times the content or more.

I'll never get used to how gacha games casually reveal MASSIVE spoilers because they really want you to login & pull the next big character they've released... Was on the goddamn train and the ads were spoiling Star Rail :P

Classic Musou review. The best games in the series - like SW2 and DW5&8 - all have 5/10 reviews calling them boring & lacking in innovation... Sengoku Basara 3 updated the formula, giving entirely unique playstyles to each character & stage... still got blasted with 4/10s from IGN and Gamespot :P

I'm glad that high-quality printed game magazines like APWOT exist, but I wish they made their content more accessible... physical-only is costly. The CRPG Book has 200,000+ free PDF downloads and that didn't stop the hardcover book from being a best-seller. If anything, it helped it sell more...
