Tough questions and uncomfortable truths. I went caroling last night, masked. Before it started a one in the grouped looked at my mask and said “I just don’t do Covid mitigations anymore”. She is a grandmother. She just had major surgery six months ago and has not fully recovered.

Kids will have very tough questions for the adults in their lives when they grow up and realize they were subjected to repeat Covid infections so we could rush “back to normal”. These kids will live with chronic illness the rest of their lives because society refused to adapt.
