People showed up today even with freezing winds. @ruthzee.bsky.social gave a powerful speech and representatives from @pressley.house.gov and @markey.senate.gov also offered strong messages of support. Not a single State Rep/Senator showed up and neither did anyone from Gov Healey's office.

Yesterday at City Hall, union workers and immigrant advocates condemned attacks on long-time residents who work hard and pay taxes. Thank you to all who showed up with strength and solidarity. Boston values all communities and will keep fighting for policies that protect our neighbors.

More senior affordable housing is coming to Hyde Park! Thank you so to B’nai B’rith for bringing these 63 units, in partnership with so many others. They will also increase foot traffic for businesses and organizations nearby. We want to see MORE of this, in Hyde Park and across the city!

I joined the Black Economic Council of Mass as they unveiled the next chapter of their Hub in Roxbury—a space set to fuel innovation, collaboration, and economic empowerment. Grateful to CEO Nicole Obi, the team, and the Board for their leadership. Congrats on this milestone and 10 years of impact!

Stood today with @32bjseiu.bsky.social airport workers fighting for fair pay, better training, and affordable healthcare. MassPort must approve next Thursday’s vote to support a trained, fairly compensated workforce. Grateful to all who continue pushing for dignity and respect for these workers.
