Been itchy since late afternoon. Normal antihistamine dose hasn’t helped. Benadryl would work but leads to paralysis (recently about 50% of the time) so I’m not taking it unless I absolutely must. But ugh. #MCAS sucks

Stuffed the piñata with the birthday girl. Dad is out getting cake and bday dinner (hot dogs, her fave). Big sisters are doing my wrapping bc this body cannot today.

Good thing I throw very laid back kids birthday parties. People responding the day before is truly no problem! Piñata, cake, animal charades and free play. Only four guests, including the late responder. (And my own crew of course). We got this.

Weird pemgarda side effect — my cheeks are flushed and flaming hot. No other obvious signs of allergic reaction and I feel fine other than my cheeks hurt 🤷‍♀️

Steroid insomnia would be a lot easier to cope with if I didn’t also have steroid blurry eyes. My go-to activities are sudoku or reading and those are both challenging atm. Can be done… but it’s kind of a gruel instead of fun.

Pemgarda is in! Plus IV steroid and Pepcid and oral Zyrtec, Tylenol, and Benadryl. I’m sleepy but also not at the same time - don’t expect to sleep after 125mg methyl prednisone. But we’ll see. Have a slight headache but otherwise feel my normal Will update when there’s something to say. #LongCovid

You don’t say. Combine it with POTS and ME and it’s a monthly disaster. Feels like the life force is draining from my body (bc it kinda is). I’ve stopped them hormonal to avoid the monthly crash in which I feel like the undead.

Re: my last boost of @patientled Really loved Hannah's point that #LongCovid is not mysterious & unknown....whenever you read or hear that, replace it with "complex, devastating and increasingly well-understood as an incurable neuro-immune disorder."

Got charged a replacement fee for a library book, citing damage. I recall no damage — I mean, the book was well loved before it got to my house but we did not ruin it. The live chat online is at the main branch so can’t help me except further clarify it’s marked as “liquid damage.” 😡😡

Well. This having to put my phone on the charging pad thing certainly makes me take more breaks from the screen.
