I don’t think the speech gets enough credit. It’s short, but powerful as hell because Vader is staring Obi-Wan down while taking credit for Anakin’s death to absolve his mentor of his guilt, but it comes off as both remorseful and boastful. Vader is proud as hell, but Anakin is tortured by guilt.
