There is something really fun about seeing a journeyman like Christian Ramirez score a goal.

Looking at the numbers for Nimfasha Berchimas are kind of insane. He has 47 appearances since signing with Charlotte FC in 2022. Only three of those appearances have come with the MLS first team totaling 20 minutes. Maybe this is unrealistic but at a certain point you have to give him a chance.

There is a lot of blame to throw around. Privett is going to get a lot for his horrendous assist to Klauss. You can’t entirely blame the defense when you have three total shots with your last coming in the 36th minute. Unacceptable.

Defensive issues are concerning. What’s equally concerning is that this squad seemingly has zero chemistry linking passes together. Especially in the final third.

It’s fucking depressing that down 3-0 Charlotte still have zero shots this half. Last shot was Diani in the 36th minute.

I get it you are by default going to have a bit of a hiccup after losing two outstanding players like Agyemang and Malanda. Toklomati seems like a decent to potentially equal replacement for Agyemang. After tonight it feels pretty apparent that Privett isn’t going to fill the hole left by Malanda.

It feels pretty concerning especially for the future of the club that without Westwood Charlotte doesn’t appear to have any vocal leaders. When times get tough the squad disappears and loses clear direction.
