I saw Mortal Kombat II. it was a lot more self-serious but not in a bad way. there was good banter and stuff, loved Kano and Johnny Cage. also loved Shao Khan, whoever his actor was did really good. Sorta whatever beginning and ending but c’est-la-Mortal-Kombat. Gonna have to see that first one.

watched Kiki’s Delivery Service, and man yeah those Ghibli films are as good as they say. Kiki and Jiji are great characters and I like how slice-of-life it is. really stacked voice cast too that does a great job.
