One thing I want to add to the "everyone can make art" discourse is that professionalizing your hobbies might be worse than just dealing with a shitty job. YMMV but there's alot of survivorship bias on one end and a bit of vicarious yearning on the other.

I put on the 2001 Tomb Raider after dinner since I hadn't seen it before, and Angelina Jolie as Lara might be the hottest woman ever captured on film?

Just looking at the raw input from my Intuos the stems are already pretty prominent, so I imagine it's going to be about finding a good combination of post-processing and using the pen a bit differently. I don't actually mind doing line art on paper but I've always hated doing it in digital.

Any tips for getting rid of stems on tapered lines? It's been an issue before but I don't normally use tapered brushes. The Lady Nezumi plugin seems helpful but I'm on OSX so unfortunately it isn't an option.

Is there a normie term for someone having "raid parser" energy? i.e. knowledgeable about detailed minutiae but very mediocre at actually doing a given task?

Still thinking about No Other Choice. Wasn't that enthusiastic leaving the theater but it really left an impression on me. Such a cynical film but one with so much sympathy for all its characters.
