instead of making art purely for more engagement or follower numbers, may i suggest making art so you can force what followers you have into seeing your cute OCs eating burgers or cooking with an air fryer

So I've been around the internet a while. Including the prime Mary Sue hatred era. And putting your ocs thru the litmus test to share scores. So I do struggle with sharing very, eh, indulgent ocs like Gunza. I know he's OP, so part of me is always nervous about getting called out for it. 😔

What makes Gunza smile? Not much. He tends to keep a pretty neutral expression despite his emotions. Makes him harder to read. Makes him a better killer. Makes him mysterious and handsome. But when he's really happy he will smile. Usually a one sided smirk. More if he's surprised.

Oops, I kinda answered this on the beauty day. Anyway, Gunza doesn't find much ugly. He likes the grotesque. The conventional is usually boring rather than ugly. I did say he finds demon worship ugly. He doesn't like self sacrifice. And may be put off by anyone with worse hygiene than himself.

Okay this I can spin off into something a little interesting. I've already gone into detail on multiple days about Gunza's issues with his parents. He doesn't really have any normal scars on his body, however... It's a scar in a sense. And a physical reminder of his contract with his patron.

Gunza doesn't really have a home base so he basically lives out of his backpack. He has a few changes of clothing (so few that Raphael deeply disapproves), some jewelry in a small wooden box, a handful of useful scrolls, usually some sort of yarn and hooks, and an immeasurable amount of daggers.

Gunza isn't much of a quote guy. He's more of a listener than a speaker. Which is great because Raphael loves talking. But I'm sure he has some great monotone one-liners in there. Let's grab a line from one of my fics. "Ugh. Your horns. Would be an embarrassing way to lose an eye.”

Due to his parentage, Gunza is very attractive with high charisma. He doesn't try and that's part of the charm. His outfits are a little worn in, practical rather than fashionable. Good for travel, rarely in armor. He'd go for stealth over armor most of the time.

So, Gunza has a surprisingly amount of time on his hands. He's taught himself how to crochet. He doesn't always have access to supplies so he's used a lot of strange fibers. He likes web silk from giant spiders quite a bit. He also loves sparring. And by sparring I mean play wrestling.

Gunza finds a lot of beauty in the grotesque. After years and years of living among devils, he's found himself drawn to their aesthetics. Bones and skulls arranged along a wall, blood flowing along the curves and valleys of a fresh corpse, something too tall with too many limbs.

This is going to be a long one... And my second attempt at writing it haha. Anyway I figured this would be a good day to focus on Companion!Gunza's thoughts on the other characters.

Gunza's limits are very hard to find. Some people (Haarlep) like to test them to try and get under his skin. He's from the Abyss, he's got a decently high pain tolerance for a cambion. However he can be easily upset if his parents are brought up in certain ways. He is very sensitive there.

Gunza does not have any tattoos. He doesn't really have any desire for any. He likes body modification through piercings. If he were to get a tattoo it would probably be something like Mephisto's seal. It would have to be for a good trade. But that would also make things even more awkward with R.

I've discussed this a bit in previous days so I will focus this one specifically on Companion!Gunza. The tadpole severs his connection to his patron and he loses almost all of his powers, including the ability to leave his teifling disguise and take his true form.

If there is one thing that the Underdark is good at, it's culling the weak. Gunza had to kill his weaknesses early in life. However he wasn't able to kill the soft spot he has for his mother or the hatred for his father. Both can be used to manipulate him.

What is Gunza's nature? He's a lustful, hedonistic, evil creature. He's relatively chill about it at least. He just doesn't let things (most things) get to him. So I guess that's part of his nature as much as his demonic urges.

I feel like I need to apologize for Gunza but growing up he saw skimpily dressed men on the laps or at the feet of their wives or masters. In the Hells, it goes even further. He doesn't understand (or tbh care to understand) that some people don't like PDA. It's very tame to him.

Oops a day late but it's okay. So I touched on this a little in "Social Class", but Gunza is both from a noble family and working directly under an Archdevil. He's not naturally great at politics but he does have to pay attention for his own survival.

Gunza was raised tradeless. His mother's family were nobles who let him basically run wild after all. Not to say he is skilless. Ignoring the obvious job of mercenary, he would make a very skilled guide especially for exploring the Underdark. But for standard trades? Nah.

Oh boy oh boy. What is a vice to a guy who spends time with devils? What is a vice to a demon? Gunza does what he likes and he doesn't really give thoughts to what is right or wrong so much as what is "allowed" in his current situation. Mephistopheles is generally the only one who makes the rules.

Gunza is an introvert and likes to spend a lot of time on his own (when at the HoH, Haarlep can hang out with him, they are chill). However, he actually does enjoy being sociable! Devils are very social in their way and he's had to learn to navigate courts and parties. M likes to show him off.

As mentioned on an earlier day, Gunza's dream is to rid the world of his father. Half demon, half drow means sleep isn't necessary outside of healing severe damage. But he enjoys occasionally relishing in it. Dreams are usually pleasant or abstract. Things like being in the wilderness for fun.

Gunza uses magic for ranged and dagger/grapple for melee. He's usually more of a stealth guy, sneaking up on a target for a quick death with a blade. But he's not above obliterating someone with flashy magic. He does have access to hellfire after all. Why not use it?

Gunza loves daggers. A new dagger, an old dagger, a cursed dagger. It's an easy gift to get him to (+5) at you. Any warm, cooked meal is also a nice treat. Especially meat.

I dooooon't have a canonical age for Gunza yet hahaha. He's defo a few hundred years old. His demonic and elven heritage has him aging very, very slowly. (I wouldn't be surprised if M has him suspended in his prime for being his most specialest warlock.)

A bit of a hard question. Gunza is evil aligned, so his dark side is easily and often accessible. He works for an Archdevil, he has done some awful shit for that Archdevil. He doesn't really care. After all, he's probably much stronger than anyone who would object.

Gunza sees himself as a weapon mostly. A tool to be used by an Archdevil. Not mindless, but useful. But he has a destiny he will see through. He will do whatever it takes to rid the world of his father. If he survives that, he can a new purpose, but that's too far ahead to think about.

Gunza has a complicated relationship with his mother for having never met her. Probably because he hadn't met her. As a child, he would often sit staring up at her portrait as he got lost in his thoughts. He doesn't miss her, he doesn't have the right to, but he wishes he could know her.

Oh no. Gunza is a little bit of a gross boy. I would say his comfortable level of hygiene is not abhorrent but definitely below average. He doesn't mind a bit of sweat or being covered in blood or in the same clothes for a week straight. Getting his work for his Patron comes before himself.

Gunza's social class is, uh, kind of bizarre. His father is a Demon Lord with multiple Abyssal layers as his domain. His mother was the eldest daughter in a Noble House within Menzoberranzan. And yet he seemed to live outside of class constructs as a child.
