With two instances of strike uncertainty (Monday and now today again) and a death in the family, all in the same week, I'm just past my limit of being okay and acting okay.

Me and my dad said our goodbyes to my aunt virtually this morning. Seeing two funerals within the span of three weeks like this feels awful from afar so, I can't imagine how my uncle and cousins back home are feeling after losing a father/grandfather three weeks ago and now their wife/mother.

the thing about establishing a personal writing process is you must establish the personal writing process. and I just think that's really fucked up

Something about grief in isolation that I didn't consider until now is that it becomes much harder to express that and let feelings out than when you're in an environment where everyone is doing that. At least, that's been the case in my experience with deaths in India.

Feeling some type of way after seeing how yesterday's "negotiations" were more market manipulation and vibes than something concrete. It's so insulting to see this war being treated as a joke by the US when I'm over here feeling guilty and sad about not being able to attend my aunt's funeral.

Just feeling very disconnected from everything at this point.

Fuck America and it's stupid fucking war for making my life feel like a living hell for the last two months and making it near impossible for me and my family to be with our loved ones in times of grief. Fuck Iran for striking us as a power move and making it unsafe to even try to be with them.

The calls we're getting today and the timing of them feels like a repeat of three weeks ago.
