I never got to personally meet him but you can tell from how he ran the studio and our studio meetings that he was a great guy and cared for our teams and the games we were making. This is such a devastating loss and my heart aches for his family and friends. 😢

A chunk of my GDC talk was about leaning into and writing the weird thing. Expedition 33 does this so beautifully from world building to individual lines of dialogue, and to great effect.
