This person is one hundred percent correct and it’s scary af. We will never “media literacy” our way out of this as a society. We are about to reap the whirlwind when it comes to misinformation, disinformation, and informational warfare.

There's a ton of really stupid infographics showing that video game prices stayed the same while the price of food tripled in 20 years and going "Obviously games should cost 180 dollars." when what that graph actually shows is that we should be having bread riots right now.

I think if you argue for video games being more expensive you just don't want poor people to be able to play them. There's no semantics-ing your way out of that. That is the material effect of making games more expensive, no matter what you say.
