I don't think I like fighting games punishing you for blocking for the most part (beyond chip damage ofc). I think blocking in the first place should be punishment enough. Guard bars, RISC, SF6 & COTW drive meter reudction, etc. Not detrimental design and I understand the purpose, but not a fan.

I think Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time sucks really hard narratively it but it's full of moments that make you feel happy cuz you're seeing characters you love who are usually miserable in nice situations so it tricks you into thinking it's good. Which makes it kinda interesting. Hope slop.

Best movies of the year for me are def Eddington, No Other Choice, and Marty Supreme. The surprise hit for me that came out of nowhere was Caught Stealing. Also really liked Bring Her Back. Shout-outs to the knife scene for being the hardest to watch scene all year.

The team that formed Treasure left Konami cause they felt stifled by the reliance on developing licensed IP games but after creating a whole new company they immediately made a Ronald McDonald game for cash. We are allowed to say this is funny cause the game whipped ass and it worked out in the end.

I traded a copy of pokemon gold for wario land 3 when I was like 6. 25 years later this would be seen as the economic fumble of the century, but this was a true net gain for my child brain as wario land 3 is fucking weird and awesome while pokemon blows. They were just making shit back then.
