You have to block them immediately. The full nuclear. They are only here to make folks angry, and that can’t happen if we lock them out.

An antifascist popular front and transphobia are incompatible. A big tent that includes transphobes isn't a big tent, it's a tent with a hole in the roof.

the only reason "abolish ICE" is seen as radical is that no one will say it but the far left. if every normie Democrat started saying it tomorrow it would move the overton window so far you'd have to squint to find it. my kingdom for leaders who understand they can shape public opinion.

Looks like the feds might be using the green zinc chloride gas canisters again. It's toxic and absorbs through the skin; the US DoD stopped using it decades ago due to the effects. Effectively an aerosolized heavy metal (zinc), with all the long term implications heavy metals have.

From a good friend in Minneapolis: "Target is allowing ICE to stage in their parking lots, use their restrooms, and abduct people from inside their stores - so if you weren’t boycotting already, now is the time." They were staging in Chicago as well.

Presence in the US without documentation is a civil offense, not a crime. There is no reason for ICE to have weapons whatsoever (or exist, really). It would be like a meter maid or a debt collector drawing a weapon on you. The militarization of civil law enforcement is and has always been wrong.

Here's an idea: Any Democrat who wants to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate in 2028 must pledge to rip this cabal of anti-democracy tech fascists out of our government. Anyone who won't make that pledge is for the billionaires, not the people. This must be a deal-breaking litmus test.
