BrickGrass's Blanket Permission Highlighter is a browser extension that turns an AO3 creator's link green if they're in the FPSList database. This makes it easier to find a fic to record. It's available for most browsers. Here's the Firefox one. addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo...

First thing is to go to your AO3 profile page and put your blanket permission statement there. It can be as simple as GayPirateAficianado's "If you want to create art or podfics or anything from what I’ve written, please do!" or you can use this little tool to be more speficic. tinyurl.com/yu4rbrse

I have a blanket permission anyway but just to add, anyone is welcome to do any of mine too :) I will probs sign up to do this anyway....

if i didn't live with my mom and seven loud dogs, i'd dust off my yeti mic and my pop filter and redownload audacity in a heartbeat, but since circumstances are what they are, there's a blanket permission statement on my ao3 profile and y'all are welcome to record any of my fics.

Not sure if I did it right, but I added blanket permission to my stories and would be happy to have more podfics if anyone is looking for something!

Adding a permission statement to your AO3 profile (you can still include caveats!) regarding podfics/translations/etc makes life a lot easier for translaters and podficcers and they're therefore more likely to translate or podfic your fic!

This is such a fun idea! I'm definitely going to sign up to podfic. Also, I'm happy for anyone to podfic anything of mine, but it doesn't count as blanket permission because my statement asks people to let me know first. For this event I'm happy for anyone to pick anything, no ask required.

15. Really hard to pick just 1 podfic, as I often listen to fics I've read/am reading if a pod is available. So for this I am going to shout out @ofmdpodfuckery.bsky.social the PodFuckery series which I am really enjoying as just a listening experience. They are a great!
