Its been two years since I painted this I think. It still makes me so happy that it turned out how I wanted. I consider myself to have zero artistic talent so the fact its recognisable is crazy to me. Make things! Make you happy.

I once had a 'friend' tell me that I had to 'stop with the pirate thing and get a new hyperfixation'. Because that's how that works. This weekend I got to play pirates with lovely creative people who accepted, supported and uplifted me for just simply being me. Why would I give up that joy?
