There's a huge tension building within public health over collaboration: can we work with the Trump Administration, at whatever few points of overlap in mission exist, to make people healthier? What this misses is the visibility and transparency of that play to the public, and its impact on trust

Since I suspect these might come up again... 1️⃣ It's "mass infection", not "focused protection". 2️⃣ It's "conspiracy theorist", not "critic". 3️⃣ It's "denier", not "skeptic". 4️⃣ It's "unevidenced", "misleading", or "false", not "disagreement". Reframe: Across multiple elite colleges, Black and Hispanic/Latine student enrollment fell dramatically compared to last year. In comparison, White study enrollment increased or remained unchanged. Changes in Asian American enrollment were mixed.

Princeton's AsianAm numbers dropped too. There've been mixed outcomes for AsianAms post-affirmative action, devastating declines in Black, Latine, & Indigenous students, and increases in white students. AsianAms who said Ed Blum was their hero let their anti-Blackness get the best of them.
