Lemme tell you about a library budget that has not gone up in 10 years and was cut in 2020 (covid) and 2025 (NIH). Same library is trying to meet patron needs in changing public access requirements, navigating labrynthian OA agreements, and also upskilling in AI literacy. With no budget for it.
