Asymptomatic Covid is suggesting immunity that’s not there. Don’t conflate immunity with asymptomatic infection. Testing is still important. Also, MAGA misinformation on vaccines on social media, has been a distraction from the harms from COVID itself. It’s not the Public who are benefitting here.

As an immunocompromised cancer survivor, the riskiest things I do are go for my 6 annual cancer surveillance appointments in crowded medical offices full of unmasked patients and staff. I should not have to risk death by respiratory illness in order to not die of cancer, but the system is failing us

I suspect that on Wuhan wild-type C19, enforcing fomite/droplet mitigation, while leaving the door wide open to airborne transmission for, created evolutionary pressures that selected out a super-airborne Omicron variant.

People could wear respirators and stop this. Influenza doesn't magically appear in your body because it's cold outside. Someone who is infected breathes it out, and you breathe it in. IT'S AIRBORNE like cigarette smoke. Washing your hands won't stop it unless you breathe through your damn hands.

Not everything is Covid but currently we have a situation with constant false narratives, where it is never COVID. It’s absolutely unscientific.

Nobody wants #LongCovid. But what are the Labour Government doing about this clear & present threat?

Everyone needs vaccine access as a minimum @ashleydaltonmp.bsky.social or risks vascular & immune damage. We also need #CleanAirEverywhere and good messaging on ffp2/3 respirators as vaccines were designed to reduce severity, not fully prevent infections.

We cannot achieve anything as a country without good health and we have an increasingly sick population from #COVID immune damage, vascular damage, neurological damage and our government needs to #TalkAboutCOVID before millions more are unable to work.
