Exploring a prehistoric ring fort revealed an island of rich, ancient natural habitat in a sea of sterile ryegrass. Protected over millennia by now fading beliefs, a refuge for the wild things: badgers (with signs of a very old, extensive sett), pine martens (scat on log circled), and more. Magic.

It's completely beyond me how authorities can continue to ignore this fundamental issue, especially given that we KNOW that with climate breakdown floods will only keep getting worse. Pay farmers to rewild NOW.

This is a shocking move even for them. People's homes are flooded and sewage is running down the streets cause of climate change and these clowns are deprioritizing doing anything about it. The only thing they'll do is remove judicial reviews...
