Tonight Close-Up and I watched the pre-code LOOSE ANKLES (1930) starring Loretta Young and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. The film has plenty of evening gowns, compromising positions and a prohibition raid at a big circus themed nightclub. It is not a cinematic masterpiece, but it’s a really fun film! 🎥 🎬🎞️👩‍✈️🤡

Researching old trade mags as I put together my presentation for MADAM SATAN and my eyes bugged out when I saw this in an advert. I'd never seen Garbo's name attached to RED DUST before; that would have been a wildly different picture.
