Today I looked at the New York Times homepage a couple of times. And then I hung out at the Brooklyn Book Fest and saw thousands of people out and about and talking about books. Sometimes it’s much too easy to forget how many of us there are.

Hello #AncestryHour! It's been a minute. I recently started doing a few minutes a week on my own tree. My Polish-Jewish hatmakers go back to the 18thc! Very exciting, can't believe it's possible to trace them that far. Most of my ancestors on that side were from towns where nothing has survived.
