I've accepted that a LOT of Magic isn't for me anymore. The mantra of "This isn't for you, and it's okay." is valid and correct, and helps ease the FOMO. However, it's hard to feel connected to the game when I have to repeat that mantra most of the time. At some point, "most" might become "all".

This is a great thread by Josh. Even my hometown of 19k back in the day had an arcade and even a coffee shop for teens that wasn't trying to sell you anything (though I bought a ton of mozzarella sticks there). Just nice places to hang out with friends. Both are now long gone. Replaced with online.
