Trans women are effectively a movement-less people, because any movement that should be for us seems to adjust to push us down the priority list as soon as our connections to other groups of people become apparent.

I’ve watched this happen for easily a decade. Anything that targets trans women gets more attention as soon as it affects another group, who then becomes the priority. This happens with bannings, ostracism, inspections, and all other forms of social violence.

One of the telling things for me is how consistent the messaging has been over the years that affecting cis women should be the motivator to oppose these policies, and yet trans women being fully pushed out of sports has been almost ignored as an injustice.
