A big reason why I don’t mess with other social media sites anymore is it was a constant feed of doomers and pessimists. I get understanding the reality we’re dealing with but acting like we should just act like the sky is falling 24/7 isn’t going to make anything better.

The 2025-2026 Season has barely started, and KD is already making a case for being my favorite player of it.

Deeply saddened by this. He gave birth to my favorite fighting game series, and gave my favorite game character Ryu Hayabusa a rebirth. every interview with him was a treat, a real wild card, whose centuries made him a unique voice. Much love to his family and friends.

The best thing I did for myself this year as a music fan was deciding that I refuse to give any opinion on an album, new or old, until I spend enough time with it where I know it back to front. I’ve gained so much more appreciation for albums this way.

Music will probably always be my main love. Love going to shows, love both older and current music and I love exploring different genres.

Marvin Gaye made two such excellent albums, followed by a classic divorce album, all within five years. (Crucially, they were not all about the same person. He was a complicated genius!)

Reconnected with old school friends and made a bunch of new ones.

I’ll freely admit that I spent so much time on other social media sites just taking in all the debates/discourse throughout the day basically everyday. It’s a big reason why I don’t use those sites anymore. I want to try to make this one more of a calm place for me to stop by every now and then.

After having it for 5 1/2 years, my phone won’t charge, so guess it’s time to finally join the current year and upgrade to an iPhone 8.

Great stuff from Becky Lynch & Maxxine Dupri. The latter is definitely improving and has a genuine connection with the crowd and the former is so good at heeling it up in a way that makes crowds want to see her get her comeuppance.
