I wrote an essay comparing the parallels between Metropolis and Playdead's INSIDE overnight because I completely forgot I had to submit two essays for my Film Studies class (the other one that I spent more time on was about surveillance). Anywho, the Metropolis essay ended up getting a higher grade.

idk if concept at the 18th hour is a good thing or not. It feels like I've "wasted" a lot of time but tbh younger me would often fall into the trap of running with the first idea i've got and then ending up boxed in and having to redo/undo a bunch of work to make the idea better. (1/2)

Gods it feels good to be back. Working on a singular project for so long sure has a way of feeling like you're getting nowhere. Maybe I will do more jam games in the future? Who knows.

I FINALLY HAVE A CONCEPT I CAN BUILD OFF OF FOR #LudumDare58! :DDDD Honestly, the wildest thing about this jam was that I had about 30 or so ideas, but turning them into an actual conept was bit more complicated than I’d thought. Anyways, the game is basically this:

Participating in Ludum Dare again after what, 7 years now? It's been a good while. Especially interesting trying to jam something out after having mostly worked on larger productions this past while.
