It's been a super exciting week of incredible artist announcements, but we've got one more surprise left up our sleeves. Today we'll be announcing a legendary Magic artist who: - Has NEVER attended another event - Has NEVER sold artist proofs OR signatures - Has 130+ works! ...Who can guess it? 👀

It may be the weekend, but we've still got SO much exciting news to share -- we're not taking a day off! Prepare to ✨Ascend✨ right out of your seats, and please welcome our next incredible artist guest Anthony Palumbo!

Please join us in welcoming our next powerhouse artist -- Winona Nelson (@winonanelson.com)! Winona has created art for over 150 unique Magic cards, and we're extremely excited for the opportunity to host her at Shoebox! ✨

Let's start this party off strong - we're not here to play. (I mean, we're here to play Magic, but you know.) We're turning Minnesota's nonbasic lands into Mountains, taking it alllll the way back to bring you a VERY special appearance from one of Magic's original artists -- Tom Wänerstrand!

Are you not going to @shoebox.gg next March? Ahh you must not be aware it’s happening then. It’s all the best stuff about magic: gathering, actual fun formats, proxies. It’s the pinnacle of grassroots organizing and if you won’t be there, my guess is you’ll be booking in 2027 for sure.
