I've tried so many times to make Aeve work and it basically ends up like a glorified Elfball deck that folds to the slightest bit of interaction. I've convinced myself that one day a card will come out that will move this deck beyond 'draft' status.

Alright, let me make one thing clear: I'm not 'bending' anything, I'm not being tempted by a Ring, I'm not venturing into a dungeon. That is a degree of effort and reading that I am just not doing. I'm sure the cards are lovely, but if I see them in Scryfall, I'm just gonna keep scrolling.

As a deckbuilder, the 'Final Fantasy' set inspires me like no other. I already have two Commander decks, a few more in 'draft' status, and even more in the back of my mind I want to try. No other set has made me feel this way.
