I'm feeling nostalgic, so here's a small thread of my painted alters from my very beginning This Deathcult Rogue was the first alter I ever made. I lost it in a move almost a decade ago, and I'm seriously considering redoing this alter for my Polycube

As a former classical musician, I need to assert that art based on another artist's creation can still absolutely be valuable art in and of itself. Nobody reasonable ever shamed a concert musician just because they never composed their own orchestral music, so we shouldn't do that to fan art either.

The cube box I got myself as a present for my birthday has this perfect little slot for oversized cards, so now the Kitchen Table Polycube also has a Planechase deck available for multiplayer games

One of the things that brings me such joy about seeing ancient art is to think about how someone, who was probably still struggling to get shelter, water, food and just like survive, felt it was *necessary* and *important* to sit and create art

Discovering that weird paradox of cube design where a cube with 360 cards tends to be best with *only* 8 players, while a larger cube (450, 540, 720) is still really good with smaller draft pods.

In all reality, I think this just means I should adjust my goal to having as many cards as possible be printed within 2005-2015, which means the KTK onslaught fetches are fine here. No way I'm getting a cool $1k I can just spend on five cards
